Project: Design and Build and Automatic Regression Tester
ADS developed a complete Automatic Regression Tester to reduce test
times for Acterna's products. This system allows
anyone from an operator to a manager to
develop test scripts to run automatically. This
application tests any functionality the instrument
performs such as Sonet and Bit Error Rate.
Client: Hughes Network Systems
Project: Develop Testing Software and Audit Testers for Five Different
Direct TV Products
Hughes Network Systems required a local,
reliable systems integrator with a strong
background in quality control, production,
RF and electrical and test engineering,
along with in-depth knowledge of National Instrument's LabVIEW
software. ADS developed the software and integrated the final and
production audit testers for five different Direct TV products. Hughes also
relied on ADS to lead and facilitate product development across several of
its departments, including engineering and production, to ensure that the
test stations worked reliably.
Client: Northrop Grumman - California Microwave, Inc.
Project: Develop a System to Remotely Control and Monitor the HP
Spectrum Analyzer
California Microwave offers customers
satellite earth stations with full remote
capabilities. They contacted ADS because they were unable to monitor
test equipment to determine if the signal carriers from a satellite were
available at correct levels. To solve this problem, ADS developed a system
capable of remotely monitoring and controlling test equipment, in this case
a HP Spectrum Analyzer. The solution involved synthesizing National
Instrument's hardware and software and a Glenco Key with the HP
spectrum analyzer.

Project: Write Software Test Modules to Monitor RF Two-Way
Communications for Gas Meters
ADS developed LabVIEW testing software
to monitor RF gas meters for two-way
communications.
